On September 13, 2026, Local 776 held nominations for the election of Officers and Business Agents. The Dearth-Cicak Slate was duly nominated, and the respective candidates accepted the nominations. When the Election Officer called for nominations from the floor twice more, there were none! Hearing no further nominations, the Election Officer closed nominations and declared the Dearth-Cicak Slate winners of the election by acclamation!

As we have said throughout our time in office, unity among the Members continues to grow, as does the pride Members take in their Union. Members support their elected Officers and Business Agents and believe we are doing the best possible job for them. There is no further testament to this fact than having us run unopposed in the election!

We all look forward to next year, the start of a new term in office, and the challenges it will bring. We are committed to providing you, the Members, with the best possible contracts and representation.
